Terms of Service

Welcome to Dog Lovers. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Dog Lovers. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree not to create an account for anyone other than yourself, and not to misrepresent your identity or your dog.

Dog Lovers is built around your dog. The primary photo of every profile must be the dog. You may appear with your dog in secondary photos, but standalone owner photos are not permitted as a profile's primary image. We may remove photos that violate this rule.

You retain ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service (for example, showing your dog's profile to other users). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you share.

Location-based features (nearby dogs, check-ins, badges, the live park map) are optional. You control whether and when you share your location. You agree not to use location features to harass, stalk, or track other users.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate another person or create a fake profile.
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the app.
• Use the app to identify or locate someone who does not wish to be found.

Badges are awarded for location-based activity and are displayed at your option. They have no monetary value, are not transferable, and may be modified or retired at our discretion.

Dog Lovers is a social platform for meeting other dog owners. We do not screen or verify users, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or in person. You interact with others at your own risk. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including damages from meetings arranged through the service.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the community.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you before they take effect. Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
